Pico Mace

Pico Mace is a PICO-8 demake of my beloved game PARTICLE MACE that fits in just 1015 bytes!

Created for the #Pico1k Jam 2023.

How To Play

Just arrows while playing!

Swing your trash particles into everything!

Smashing red enemies will give you a bunch of points. Hit them in rapid succession to increase your combo.

Smashing yellow asteroids will give you a few points. Not a ton but hey it's something.

Don't die! But that's impossible.

Source Code

The whole dang thing is under a kilobyte compressed. This is my first time using a compression tool (Shrinko8), which kind of feels like cheating, but it definitely let me squeeze a lot more into the game.
